baby darius still hafing flu. but gettin better alreadi. however, seems like he pass his flu to me! naughty him :( he haf been fussing alot lately. don't know wad's wrong. not sure isit that he's scared, on growth spurt or he's sick hence so cranky. but luckily it all happen in the daytime. night time he's usually very guai. but day time is like since morning till night. and it's super shag for me! imagine ive to wake up everi 30mins-1hrs if im sleeping, to coax him, let him suckle awhile, burp him, make sure i make him sit upright for 5 mins before i put him down and i nap or do my own ting. sigh. but still, love him so much.
tomorrow is the buffet for baby darius's full month. lots of yummy food and cold drinks but i can haf non bcos im still doing my confinement >.<
lookin thru all the photos of him since the day after birth till now, he realli change alot. and he's been using S size diapers since like, 2 days ago? he's not 3 weeks 1 day. drinking 80ml of expressed breast milk every 3hrs. and he's like growing alot! when i went to polyclinic yesterday, i saw a few newborns also. and they are sooooo tiny. can't helped but stare and wonder whether isit my boy is too big, or isit their babies is too small. hahas!
aniwae, jaundice check yesterdae aint veri gd. his jaundice level went up again. sigh. not alot but went up slightly. doctor saes that haf to go back again on the 6august, 1 day before he turn 28days. bcos the test is onli accurate before the child is 28days. once the child is after 28days old, the blood specimen haf to be sent to the hospital. which means a hassle! ive to go one dae jus for blood test and another dae to review the result when the result is back from hospital. but doctor told me the next visit would be last as long as the result shows tat baby darius's jaundice is falling. bcos breastfeeding babies will haf jaundice more or less. and it's prolong. as long as baby is feeding well, gaining weight, poo and pee normal, it's okie.
whether the next visit the reading rise or drop, i also wun go back polyclinic animore lor. bcos haf to make 2 trips. if i realli wan to go, i rather go directly to hospital. thou is more expensive. but better also. cant imagine taking public transport wif baby darius in the future. hw am i gonna survive! after seeing doctor yesterdae, also went up to office bcos dey wanna see baby, pass me angbao and i also need to fill up my maternity leave & unpaid leave form. i will most likely b going back to work on the 5oct09.
seems there's still some more time. but i find it short. i wanna spend more time wif baby darius can? the angbao that my office gave is $109 and out of this there's individual angbaos given by my boss, big boss and some aunties who dote on me. and it's realli alot! $400++. enuff to help me cover the buffet. nw is worried whether the buffet angbao will b enuff to cover the cake? later will b the dae. my lil boy will b the star of the dae (:
